VMware Inc. shares VMW +0.68% gained 8.2% a day after software maker reported 4th-quarter profit above expectations.
THE BAD
Rubicon Technology Inc.’s RBCN -8.63% shares fell 7.6% after a downgrade of the crystalline-products maker to hold from buy.
Zions Bancorp shares ZION -7.31% dropped 7.8%. also on a downgrade.
THE UGLY
InterDigital Inc. shares IDCC +0.33% plummeted 19% a day after the developer of wireless technology said board of directors finished its review of a potential sale.
